Hello everyone! I’m Yeung Ho Ting Manson, a Registered Nurse graduated from The Chinese University of Hong Kong.
My decision to embark on the MPH journey stems from my desire to broaden my perspective on public health and apply the knowledge gained to improve community well-being. Being granted the prestigious UGC Targeted Postgraduate Programmes Fellowship is an immense honour and a recognition of my past achievements. This fellowship serves as a crucial financial incentive, enabling me to pursue my studies without the burden of financial constraints. It not only acknowledges my efforts but also motivates me to strive for excellence in the field of public health.
One of the most enjoyable aspects of my MPH experience at HKU has been the opportunity to engage with classmates and professors from diverse backgrounds, which has exposed me to fresh perspectives and enriched my learning, not limited to academia. The program has provided me with a holistic understanding of public health, equipping me with the necessary skills and knowledge to tackle real-world challenges.
Upon completing my MPH degree, I aspire to put what I have learned into practice, continuing to contribute to the improvement of population health. I aim to work in public health-related roles, where I can actively participate in developing and implementing strategies that address pressing health issues and promote the well-being of communities.
