As an occupational therapist mainly working in geriatrics, I pursued the MPH to bridge clinical practice with population health, especially for ageing populations. Receiving the FTSS was deeply encouraging—it affirmed my commitment to public health. So far, I’ve most enjoyed learning about practice of public health and epidemiology. Upon graduation, I aim to develop community-based programmes that promote healthy, dignified ageing.

I didn’t plan this path. My journey began in the business field, but over time, I found myself increasingly drawn to work that is more people-centered—listening to people’s stories, understanding their struggles. That quiet shift led me into the philanthropy and social welfare sector, where I began working with communities, especially through youth development and community programmes.
